Ok, I unlocked my 2000+ today, but i have a problem.
When i set my multiplier to 10, it actually changes it to 8. When i change to 10.5 it goes to 8.5.
From 11 to 12, it resets to the default settings of 100fsb x 12.5 multiplier.
Whats the problem here? Did i not unlock it correctly?
The same kind of thing happened on my friends 1800+, but we never did figure out why.
Anyone know could the problem be?

There are 5 Multiplier signal circuits controlling .5X, 1X, 2X, 4X, 8X Bit Values. Looks like the "10 gets 8" and 10.5 gets 8.5" are pointing to the 2X BV circuit being "grounded"/set permanently LO, probably during your L1s closing operation.

The "11 to 12 gets 12.5X" is not as clear, suggests that the default 12.5X =.5X and 1X circuits both HI did not get closed and so Multiplier stays at 12.5X. But then how do we explain "10X gets 8X" where the .5X HI "did" get reset to LO.

http://www.beachlink.com/candjac/index.htm Multiplier Code article explains how to decode "unexpected Multipliers", then fix/redo just those the decoding points to as flawed. Suggest you run "more" Multipliers to "exercise/reset HIs to Los and vice versa" all of the 4 lower .5X, 1X, 2X, 4X, BV circuits, then decode for faults. If that doesn't remove ambiguities, then redo all L1s.
