Athlon Slot A Overclocking Help

When overclocking an athlon slot a must i use one of those oc cards? If so whats the best one and where could i purchase one? If not how would i go about overclocking the sucker? And in both cases what kind of results would i expect to achieve (is it worthwhile)?

If your mobo lets you up the FSB just do that. Otherwise do a search on google for Gold Finger Device.

You need a golden finger adapter to adjust the multiplier, core voltage and the cache speed. Your results depends on your core... My brother has a 650MHz Athlon that he is able to run 900+MHz all day long. As he approaches 1GHz he realizes he needs to slow down the cache to be stable.
