Does anyone know if it is worth putting an MP chip on a desktop motherboard for increased gaming performance?
 
Unless it's a dual processor board and you are putting 2 of them on there, it'll work exactly the same as an XP.
 
Thanks for your reply! I thought as much but wasnt sure that some of the MP tweaks may improve things on a standard Desktop mobo. Do you have any experience of dual CPU's and games if so did the framrate improve. Sort of games I play are drivig sims?
