Athlon motherboard and Monster sound 2 conflict

My athlon BVK1A procomp motherboard conflicts with my Monster 2 Mx300. when the sound card is in, applications start up to a black screen, while when the card is out... they run normally? I have no idera how to fix this.... any help would be cool.

I just gave the exact same response to another thread. Does this board have onboard sound? If so you have to disable it in the bios to stop it from causing lock-ups.
