Athlon II X4 760K - ridiculous value?

Well you can get a 7770 on newegg for around $80 so if the 760k is around $60 you will have a better system than a 6800k for the same price.

You're mixing UK and US pricing. 😉

7770 + 760K ~= £155
6800k ~= £115

So there's a pretty big price gap between the two. But for someone looking for the first step up the ladder, it's a good next step. (Only a minor step back in CPU performance compared to the 6800K, whereas the Pentium is a major regression.)

That is ridiculously cheap! That is Pentium level of pricing. I think I have a new recommendation for a low end CPU+dGPU build...

The 750K is already ridiculous value for money. At least here in Denmark. The 760K has a a 400MHz advantage in base clock, and should even overclock better due to new stepping. So I'm going to say ludicrous value for money... 😉
