Athlon FX-53 Idle Temp?

I have an Athlon FX-53, ASUS 939 MOBO, and a Swiftech MCX6400-V CPU fan.

In the bios I am getting 51 C. for my processor and 27 C. for my case temp at idle.

Are these settings acceptable. I plan on overclocking my system later. What is the highest recommended "safe" temperature for the case/CPU?

Same here, case temp maxes at 31 and cpu temp is 36 idle, 44 load. I don't know anything about your fan. I am using the Thermaltake Venus 12+ HSF (I think, I am having a bit of a brain malfunction).
