I need to build a server with dual core athlon's and I was wondering if there was either an ATX or MicroATX motherboard that has onboard video and nic?

Shouldn't this be a thread for the Motherboard forum? Anyways... You are way better off with a simple 939Motherboard and ading discrete graphics, such as a Radeon X300 SE. Almost ALL motherboards have onboard nic's.

I think onboard video for any AMD system is not suitable because of the latency and their integrated memory controller architecture.... If you really prefer onboard video, you have to go to Intel chipset.....

You're kidding, right?

Almost all servers have onboard video. The a64/opteron architecture is the premier server CPU. Also, servers with onboard video don't have UMA, so integrated memory controller makes no difference at all. Not to mention a64 has improved UMA performance since venice/san diego.

OP I would look at The Tomcat K8E for NF4 with onboard video for a s939 server platform

Great suggestion. I liked the board... but what I highly doubt to be equally atractive, is its price.

I believe that Jetway makes a motherboard with a discrete integrated graphics card, with 32mb of memory on the motherboard. Faster than an integrated graphics card, and the motherboard's not more than 100$, if I recall.

Do you actually need a server board?
ATI's motherboards might fit your needs nicely.
