I have a classic athlon 500 and an asus k7m motherboard. I want to build a cheap gfd without voltage adjustment since my motherboard let's me select voltages(1.3-2.3). All other schematics I've looked at include voltage adjustment. Could someone please tell me how I could build a gfd that only switches the multiplier the athlon cpu? All help is appreciated.

I just left out the circuit for voltage control. Besides that I didn't bother to construct a 3.3v supply. I just tapped into the orange 3.3v lead from the system power. For a connector, I used a section of a PCI bus slot from an old motherboard. I salvaged dip switches from an IBM System 360 interface.

dkozloski, thanks for your response. You said that you tapped into the orange 3.3v lead from the system power <-- Why did you tap power from the system power for the card? Is it possible for me to only contruct a working multiplier only gfd that uses no external power? Thanks.
