Hi. Just curious how well the older Athlon 950mhz processor o/c? I'm planning on upgrading on a pretty limited budget right now, and even though I want an Athlon 1600+ or 1700+ they are $110 and like $117 (around there).. the 950 is $52. I figured a shuttle ak31 rev 3.1 and some ddr-sdram will do the trick. But what I mean is with the shuttle and the ddr-sdram will the 950mhz athlon be able to do 266mhz fsb = 1263.5mhz (assuming a 9.5multiplier x 133mhz fsb).

Thanks.

You would have to have some pretty good cooling. If it is unlocked then you could reduce the multiplier and oc the FSB.
