Athlon 900 + Chrome Orb --> 1100 possible?

The OC seems possible, although I'm not sure whether a chrome orb will be able to handle the heat generated. It would be a good idea to get a better HSF like a Taisol, GW FOR38, Alpha PAL6035, or Hedgehog.

I agree with Paulip, I think that Thermaltake just screwed up on Socket A, give em a pass. Taisol offers 3 hsfs that can handle your BIRD, the cheapest being the CEK733092 (same as AMD retail) and the top of the line being the CGK742092, which can be configured with a variety of fans, all the way to the Delta 37cfm, no ear plugs included. The larger Taisols also have the new clip that uses all 3 notches so it won't break the socket.
