Yeah, we know that... AMD has publicly stated that the Athlon FX will NEVER have a locked multiplier because it's aimed at the enthusiast market. The A64 xx00+'s on the other hand will have locked multipliers in order to prevent "remarking" of processors on large scales.

Thanks for the tone. You'll notice he referenced the Athlon 64's in general. I stated the FX multiplier was unlocked, plain and simple. Perhaps you could be a little less rude in your responses next time.

Which suckssorta...I guess that would allow you to get a higher FSB instead, if you have decent RAM.
