Well what temps are you getting? Mine is idle at 33-35C, the max load it gets to is 40C, if you get to 65C you should be worried, otherwise you're fine . Some cold days my temps drop, my room is so damn hot.

I was wondering the same. I just got a 3200+ Vinice and I have a temp probe on the heatsink which right now is reading 34c but Everest is reading 45c. After playing BF2 for an hour the probe on the heatsink never got above 39c. I also have a sensor on the back of my ATI x800 XL's processor and thats reading 38.5c but Everest is read 49c. Kind of worried if the Everest readings are correct.

Everest is reading thermistor data from the actual chips. Your procedure is flawed (especially attempting to determine CPU temp by temp of the heatsink), its temp are much more accurate. 'Nuff said.

I played warhammer 40000 for 2 hours and quit and restarted immediately and went into bios. It says 40 degrees. Sometimes it says 41. Is that ok?

I usually run 50-55C under load in my SFF case.

You have to understand the engineering and coorporate mentallity when they state max operating conditions..regardless of the product. I worked in aerospace for 30 yrs prior to my retirement..we made jet engines for our modern fighters. I understand the inferance of Max operating points. The mentallity is alway to give you a piont that you can run at and still get max life and performance from your product at and still get to the products MOH or MBTF. You would not establish a Max operation point that would mean you would be getting products back operating at the point with a 3 yr warrenty.

Mu 3000+ winchester idles at 47-50 and under load does not get higher that 60, this is with the stock cooler and a very hot room.
