Honestly, what are the real world differences?

Newegg has a Newcastle clocked at 2.0Ghz with 512 L2cache and
a Clawhammer at 1.8Ghz with 1MB L2cache.

What are the differences if it only applies to gaming?

Say if you ran these two on the exact same setup.....
