I am looking to get a new Athlon 64 system using the Nforce 3 150 chipset. (I know the 250 is coming out soon but by that time I might as well wait for the spring lineup of gfx cards then the new lineup of processors etc... ) I have been looking and searching but I can't seem to find any roundups or shootouts of these mobos (or any Athlon 64 mobos for that matter).

Does anyone know where I could find a comprehensive listing of Athlon 64 mobos with feature lists, performance testing and recommendations?

I would pass on the nf3 150. The VIA chipset is a better setup, and faster.

I like the Albatron K8X800 It uses the Chipset: VIA K8T800/ 8237

This board has the HARDWARE VIA sound card, 1Gbit ethernet card, SATA built into the south bridge, Firewire, etc......

Goes for $129 at newegg.com

IMO, I dont know if I like the Via setup, with the north and south bridge it seems kinda clumsy compared to the one chipset Nvidia. Also from what I have seen the performance seems to be dead even anandtech

I am not sure about the sound differences though I seem to remember hearing that the Realtek 97 was quite good, although they seem to have comarable onboard options otherwise.
