Hi, everybody I just joined the forum, but anandtech has always been one of my favorite sites for hardware reviews.
I have a specific question - I bought an MSI K8N Neo Platinum with 1Gb Corsair 3200XL and need a processor. I read about putting a DTR processor in the forums here, but in the end wasn't clear if it is going to run or not.
I want to get
AMD Athlon 64 3200+, 1MB L2 Cache, 64-bit Processor for DTR Notebooks- OEM
from newegg.
Please let me know what you think, does anybody have this setup and of course how is it going to overclock. I'm hoping to reach 2.4GHz on air, and I don't have heatsink/fan yet.
