Ok, I'm in the market for a Socket 754 Athlon 64 to overclock. I am either going to get an Epox 8KDA3J or Chaintech VNF3-250 motherboard to go with it. Well, I was looking at the CPUs on newegg and found several I wasn't sure what the difference was...

These two seemed identical to me except for the model numbers:

This one looks nice because it has 1MB but it's "refurbished" and I don't know which core it is:

Can anyone offer me any information and suggestions about the differences? Also, Newcastles typically clock higher than Clawhammers, right?

Edit: fixed links... I guess having the same links would explain why the were exactly the same ;)

The difference is in the model number ADA3200BOX - ADS3200AXBOX.
The chip revision might be higher on one. Check the AMD website for info - the thermal doc should tell you.

I wouldn't grab a refurbished chip unless I'm not oc'ing and its alot cheaper. Someone has probably tried to oc it and failed and returned it.
