Athlon 64 cooling..

This weekend is a Quake 3 tournament at the local PC Club and first prize is a Athlon 64 3200+ and Gigabyte NForce 3 motherboard I'm hoping to win. I'm wondering what kind of heatsink/fans they use. I have a Volcano 11 right now on my Athlon XP. Will this work on the Athlon 64?

Unlikely.

The A64 has an all new retention mechanism.

I be amazed if they gave you that combo with no cooling.
