yeah the Zalman coolers are great they are quiet and efficient and will fit socket 754 motherboard while providing performance that will safely cool 3400 - 3700+ athlon 64

Alpha also released their heatsink, which is bound to be pretty good.
I know 2cooltek carries it.

The Thermalright SLK 948U is maybe the best A64 heatsink out there (and you can use it with any 80 or 92mm fan).

Know of any sites that have the 948U in yet?

Many websites have shown that Zalman 7000 series outperforms any thermalright series cooler for both the p4 and athlon processors unless the thermalright's cooler has at least a 55CFM fan strapped to it which of course means noise. If you are fine with running Deltas on your thermalright, it might not be the best cooler.

From my experience, Zalman 7000 is FAR from 948U while on a P4 chip.
We tested and figure out the 948U to be about ~0.24C/W while Zalman is 0.30+ C/W.
In easy way to say, 948U kicked 7000's butt.

Honestly, the retail stock fan is cooling my chip to about 35-37C idle. Very nice.

i use an arctic cooling silencer 64. it really isnt perfectly silent, but it does a great job and is quieter than the coolermaster plain one.

i've used the retail too, and this silencer 64 deal gets better temps even though it is aluminum and the retail is copper. then again the heat spreader is copper so you dont need a copper inlay anymore
