I would like to find out if my Athlon 64 3200+ is a CG revision or not. I've heared the only way you can find out is to look for the serial number on the processor. But i already put my processor in and i really hate taking off the fan. It was hard to put it on.
So, i would like to know if there is any other way of fiding out?

Download and run CPU-Z. Under the A64 logo there will be a box labeled revision. There'll be something like SH7-C0 (for a C0 chip).

Yes, i forgot to tell. I don't see anything in CPU-Z. The revision field is blank?

Odd, do you have the latest version of CPU-Z? It works on my laptop (Mobile 3000+).

Yeah, i have the latest version. I don't really know what's wrong. Maybe it's my MSI motherboard?

NM. It works with previous version (1.22). It says DH7-Cg. I suspect that means CG revision?

I'd say so.
