Athlon 64 --> Athlon X2

I'm going to build new system and considering Athlon X2 processor. Somebody please tell me which X2 cpu is close to Athlon +3700 San Diego. I need simple guide i.e.:

2x Athlon 64 +3700 San Diego = Athlon 64 X2 +4400
2x Athlon 64 +3800 Venice = ?
.....

All this L1 Cache, L2 Cache, Operatin Frequency, FSB it makes me dizzy.

2x Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego = X2 4400+ (This is correct)
2x Athlon 64 3800+ Venice = X2 4600+ (Two cores with 512 L2 cache per core each at 2.4)
2x Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego = X2 4800+ (Obviously two cores instead of one at 2.4 with 1024 L2 cache per core)

X2 4200+ 512K L2 cache per core at 2.2 (= 2 AMD64 3500+)
X2 4400+ 1024 L2 cache per core at 2.2 (= 2 AMD64 3700+)
X2 4600+ 512K L2 cache per core at 2.4 (= 2 AMD64 3800+)
X2 4800+ 1024 L2 cache per core at 2.4 (= 2 AMD64 4000+)
