Athlon 64 (754) and Dual Channel Memory?

Okay, I've gotta ask, I've orderd parts for a new computer, and now I'm sweating bullets in anticipation, and have been scouring the web now for about 5 hours trying to find a solid answer to my question, so I'm just going to ask and hope I can get a response:

I've bought a Soltek motherboard, model SL-K8AN2E-GR, and I've accidently purchased Dual Channel RAM to put into it, which I later found it didn't support, but my question boils down to, will the RAM work at all? I was under the impression that Dual Channel was an optional setting, providing the memory and mainboard supports it.

Here's a link to the RAM (I bought from NewEgg):

Any pearls of wisdom?

Yes it will work, but not in dual channel. Memory makers market dual channel kits because they are tested together for in their words "increased stability". It is usually just a marketing gimmick to get extra $

Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Finally, final verdict. And here I've been sweating bullets over whether or not I'm going to have to pay restocking fees and shipping to ship things back, THANK YOU!!

Socket 754 motherboards are single channel, socket 939 motherboards are dual channel. Of course there could be exceptions one day, but that is how it is right now.

I think you very much, both of you, for your replies.

The problem was that I ordered the RAM before I came to the realization that the 754 boards didn't support it, but after I'd ordered it I kind of figured that the Dual Channel was kind of an optional feature on the RAM anyways.

As long as it works in the board I really don't mind at all.

Again, thanks for the replies!
