Just a quick question...is it worth spending roughly $100 more to get a 4000+ over a 3700+? (assuming these are both san diegos) And if I overclock, will I be able to reach just about the same limit anyway? (assuming motherboard, ram allow it) Thanks in advance.

Sheesh, when they had a sale on the 3400+ at Compuvest, I bought one at $163 US with $25 US (to Canada) for shipping. Even with duty and shipping, in Canadian dollars it was only about $275 CDN.
Right now I think they have the same 2.4 GHz model for $203 US. The socket 939 4000+ is $400 US. Twice the price for a few fps. See what I mean on these benchmarks:

Cool, thanks for the link...yeah at this point, I'm thinking the extra money is not really worth the performance...will probably take a look at how they overclock but at this point, I think it's just for further information and won't really affect my decision.

I'd go for the 3700+ San Diego. Just make sure that if you're gonna get one, that it IS the San Diego core, not the older ClawHammer core ;) .
