what's the deal on the 3400+ cache level?? does anyone know how to tell how much cache the chip has because apparently zipzoomfly.com misadvertised (i thought i was buying the 1mb cache version cheap) and today i go on thier site and it says it has 512k l2. is there any way to tell by the numbers on the chip how much l2 cache there is? the chip they sent was fsckin DOA, which adds to the unreliability of the site... they're gonna get bad feedback here....

There are two version's, the newer Newcastle revisions which have only 512K L2 cache but run at 12x200MHZ = 2400MHZ, and the older clawhammer version (which is being phased out) 11x200 = 2200MHZ which has a full 1mb L2 cache. Prolly what happened is that they ran out of 1mb clawhammers and decided to give you a newcastle instead.🙂 What would be the chip IMO to get is a CG revision A64 3400/3200 clawhammer.
