Athlon 64 3200+ Socket 754 2 Broken/Lost Pins

I know someone who accidently messed up their processor and 2 of the pins broke off. I have 3 questions.

1. Where can he buy replacement pins?
2. How would he go about installing them?
3. What are the chances of success?

It could b fine.. Ihave seen them work...Check around the net as sometimes guys at sites have mapped the pins on these cpus down to what each is and you can go from there.....

You should be able to solder them on with a steady hand and no mess!!! I couldn't do it with this tight pin layout of the sckt 939 A64's....

I've tried looking on google for the layouts but I can't find anything. Also are there any places that sell pins? just curious.. Thanks!

dunno about replacement pins, but im sure there'll be some one somewhere whos a dab hand with the soldering iron who'll fix it
