I looked at the price several times on eWiz today. It went from 118 > 131 > 128 >131 and then back down to 118 again. I think if you come from Pricegrabber, their website will set the price to $131. Not sure how or why it's doing that...

took mine about a week, i'm in ma.

i placed my order some 8 days ago, and the last update on the UPS tracking site - from july 19th - is a departure scan from SAN PABLO, CA, US.

does UPS deliver on the weekends? i don't think they do, which means i won't get it till (earliest) Monday.

that is absurdly slow shipping, and knowing UPS, my CPU is probably broken to pieces by now.

I don't understand why they send it ground. The package weight on the tracking is .4 lb. So getting it sent 2 day or even 3 day would cost them about a dollar more. I'm really pissed (even tho i got it for $115 shipped) cuz it's still not here yet. But I did pay with MO so it's somewhat my fault.

cause most companies don't use usps... ground has more advantages... tracking, signature, insurance 🙂

Amen to that mine's taking FOREVER as well.

And it's ridiculous because a faster shipping method was like $19. Companies should give the option to take the ground price off the express price. And for something that weighs so little the shipping prices were INSANE.

Have a week 24 CPU. 279MHz FSB @ DDR333 with 1.55Vcore. Timing is 2.5-3-3-8-1T with Corsair VS.

No problem running 291MHz FSB @ DDR266 with 1.55Vcore. May hit 300MHz with minor tweaks. Definitely above average 3000 CPU.

My last two 3000 Winchesters had a difficult time hitting 275MHz FSB. All CPUs were tested on the Abit AX8 MB at 2.7Vdimm.

I don't know about above average....your voltages are creeping kinda high.

The average 3000 will hit 2.4GHz at 1.5Vcore. This CPU will do 2.62GHz at 1.55Vcore. There aren't many chips that can exceed 2.6GHz at <1.5Vcore.
