Athlon 64 3000/3200+ can overclock as high as the 3500+?

I asked myself the same question about the 3200 vs 3500.

I went with the 3200+ and now I'm glad I did. I'm running 4HT, 2.5-3-3-10 1T timings@200 divider with a FSB of 250...all of this on stock voltages. I would like to add that my Zalman 7000 runs much hotter then the stock cooler, and I think this is because I have an older 7000cu and it doesn't cover the entire core...just a thought. Idle (stock cooler) is 37c and load hits 46c, where the Zalman was 41c idle and 52c loaded.

I have my Athlon64 3000+ running at 2.25GHz. (250MHz. HTT, 3X multi, RAM running a little over 200MHz. w/ relaxed timings). I have lower grade memory (one Mushkin and one Geil, each 512MB PC3200 regular grade). I wonder how high I can go. I have a Gige-byte 8KNS board and a Thermaltake copper heatsink w/ a monstronity of a fan. I might try to push it further later, as this is my first attempt of an Athlon64 OC. I haven't hit a large OC yet since a pretty decent AthlonXP 1700+ OC (although I had my 2500+ running close to a 2800+, it wasn't anything too complicated or anything).

Edit -> running 4X multi instead of 3X.

Ok, ive managed to OC to 2.5 GHz (stable) buy increasing the fsb to 227. If i try going any over my keyboard and mouse wont work at the login screen. Can anyone help me to get it going a bit higher. Im using a zalman Cu cooler and i dont think heat is a problem, as at normal use my cpu temp is at 40 C
