The Athlon 4 has great improvements over thunderbird in terms of the core.
what abt the mobos.... will the current ddr solutions(7dxr,epox,sis 735...) be applicable to A4....

All current chipsets will support the Palomino core. You will just have to get the latest BIOS from the mobo maker to enable some of the features.
