Athlon 1200 (266 MHz FSB) + MS K7TPro2A + SDRAMPC133 compat?

Hi,

I am building my first machine. Apparently an Athlon 1200 (266 MHz FSB) was upgraded from an Athlon 1100 (100 MHz FSB)due to lack of availability by the vendor. Will this substitution result in incompatibility with the MS KTPro2A motherboard and the SDRAM PC133 memory ordered?

Thanks,
SAS

The K7T-Pro2A is based on the KT133 chipset, and doesn't have support for 266mhz bus T-Birds. I'm not sure it'll work, but you'd have to drop the fsb to 100 and use a higher multiplier.
