Athlon 1.3GHz info

Just got a 200fsb chip. Couldn't go XP without needed a new MB and memory so stuck at this.

It's an AXIA core. The L1 & L2's looked to all be joined, though the L3 and L4s aren't.

Is this unlocked? I forget how it all works...

What speed is the chip? I believe some of the higher chips came factory unlocked (ie:1.2 and above possibly). Also if the L1's are connected i would say it's most likely unlocked.

give it a try and bump the multiplier.

Raise your FSB as much as possible (can u go to 133? ) and you should be all set to go.

It's a 1300MHz chip (was that not clear? )

Sorry, should have said. Am running a Asus A7V board. It'll let me set upto 133 but I think anything over 110 is unobtainable really. I'm not an FSB overclocker anyway.

That said my multipliers only SEEM to go up to 12.5, but I expect if I try "5" or something then it'll actually be 14 or whatever.

Not put the chip in yet so can't try it out.
