Athena Power is now relabeling the Chieftec Dragon case

Just checked Newegg, if you go to Computer Cases, click on Athena Power, and then scroll down, they have Chieftec Dragon cases. Complete in all of their many 80mm fan glory.

Link for the lazy.

Blast from the past! Love these cases. Built a 1.2ghz T-bird in a beige one and a 1.6ghz P4a in a black one back in the day.

At $55 shipped, it's a pretty nice price for a EATX case.

Though I worry that the switch from steel to aluminum may have hurt its structural rigidity too much. Both newegg reviews pegged it as a little flimsy. The steel version that I had was anything but flimsy.

I remember saving up for this case back in the day...1700+ DLT3C build. To this day, I still own the case. Can't let it go for nostalgic purposes.

Have an aluminum Matrix which is basically the same thing but with mesh front. It's light and solid enough that I have to be carrying it at opposite corners to feel barely any flex. Haven't touched it in awhile but hmm... up to EATX eh? Guess I'll keep it in case I ever venture into dual socket land.
