Ate fungus over the weekend

white truffle on risotto, part of a 5 course tasting menu. most of it was meh. But damn, i gotta turn in my man card and say fungus w/pinot is the shit. I think you could have smelled the fungus more than 10 ft away lol

You can do it at home without the expense of fresh truffles. Keep a bottle of truffle oil around - you can usually get them online for a pretty good price. Yeah, it's not exactly the same, but it's very good.

I cant get into truffles, they smell a bit like somone forgot to turn the gas off after cooking.

My wife loves them though.
