ATA100 question

I probably have this set up right but I am wondering how can I tell if my Hard drive is set up for ATA100. I installed the Intel Ultra ATA stoarge driver for the cusl2 board. I beleive it's version 6.03.
thanks

If you run the companion program that installs with your driver you can see what mode its in. Should be 5. The drive autodetects the highest mode it can support and uses it unless you change it in the bios. Hope that helps.

😀

Thanks guys, I checked companion and it shows current transfer mode: UDMA5.
to my understanding that's what I'm looking for.
Thanks again for your input.

For what's it's worth, you can also get a benchmarking program (like HD Tach) that shows "burst-speed"

My ata-33 bursts at like 31 MB/s
My ata-66 bursts at like 63 MB/s
My ata-100 bursts at like 92 MB/s
