ATA100 limit. 64bit 66mhz ide raid controllers?

I don't think so, but I am not an expert.

If you have 3x 100gb drives, the RAID controller should still recognize them independantly as 100 gb, then join them and report a 300 gb drive... I don't know though.
 
heard it won't be recognized by windows.. but SP1 for WinXP should fix that ..

just wanna know for sure ;P
 
Tell you what... I've already got one 100 gb drive. Buy me two more and I'll test it out for you 😉
 
I don't think it would recognize any one single drive larger than 137gb, but I could be wrong. It might just be overall including all drives on the raid, or maybe the largest partition could be 137gb.
 
it was refering to a single drive. You can however raid 3 100 GB drives if you wish to.
