ATA100 hard drive is showing as a SCSI in win2k, is that normal !?

I just installed the VIA Bus Master PCI IDE utility .. and after windows restarted it is detecting my IBM hard drive as a SCSI !! is that normal !! everything is working fine though !

VIA's 4in1 4.29 is the latest and should fix this. I think the problem surfaced between versions 4.24 to 4.28 but you didn't say what version you were using. Look here...

Yeah that's normal. To fix it, just download the VIA 4.29 finals.

actually I had VIA's 4in1 4.29 but then I installed some utility that came with my MoBo to check and see the drives status and at what speed they are running.. but it seems that it replaced the via drivers with the old ones ...
Reinstalling the drivers fixed that but the program does not work anymore .. so I deleted it ...
