ATA-6 drive in a Thinkpad?

I need to replace the drive in my Thinkpad T-40. NewEgg has Ultra ATA/100 drives and ATA-6 drives, which I think are the same, but I'm not sure. Can I use an ATA-6 drive?

Hard drive in the T40 is ATA, any ATA 2.5" laptop hard drive will work.
