ATA/100 vs ATA/133

I have a ATA/100 controller card will it make a big difference in the speed of the devices that I connect to it?

ATA/133 and ATA/100 are almost exactly the same, it's just like AGP 4x and 8x

No PATA drive exceeds 60MB/sec.... But you may need to update the BIOS on it to deal with the new oversized drives.
