My current computer is pretty old, it's a PII 266 with Intel 440LX OEM board and all the onboard IDE connectors filled (2 HDs, CD-ROM, and a CD-RW). I've just added an ATA/100 card and a 60 gig HD that is connected to the card.
The strange part is that Windows 9x boot time is an additional 3 or 4 minutes or so, and Windows 2000 boot time is an additional 30 secs outside of autodetecting the drive.
Is this normal? Strange? or something is really wrong with the card? Or is there something wrong with my setup.
Thanks.
