ATA 100 & ATA 66.

what are the diffrerences with ATA 66 and 100??
thinking of upgrade to 100 and does it really faster???
crucial for oc??
any comments are welcome
 
I really doubt it. i usually look for buffer and RPM. The buffer is very crucial since the more memory buffer you have the faster you can trasfer more chunks of data. And the higher RPM signifies a higher transfer rate and lower seek time. the 100mb and 66mb are normally data transfers occurring in the BUS.
 
ATA100 has zero advantage over ATA66 at the moment. I don't see it being a factor soon, either.

Worry about RPM's and buffer, mainly.
