Last night,. we started the raid early to get Sarth 3D down, which we did (btw.. it's harder now, have fun!!). By time 8:15 P - 8:30 PM rolled around, the lag kicked in LIKE CLOCKWORK. Whole server was clunking and the forums lit up. It's been going to shit for MULTIPLE realms every night at the same time and stays that way until prime time is over (after midnight).

Course, Blizzard isn't offering any explainations or updates. Just a "we're sorry and we're looking into it" bullshit.

its might be part of it but all the EU realms are having the same issues as well, and i doubt ISPs in diff countries are having the same issue at the same time

FWIW Ner'zhul has been lag free

prob has to do with us raiding EST on a PST server so we are ~3 hours ahead of the zerg

Anubis what was your DPS on Patchwerk this week? I imagine you're probably pushing 5500-6000 now.

Man, I pulled 4500 last night, which was my personal best. I consider myself pretty well geared and a good player. I have GOT to find out what I'm doing wrong...

most likely not much

dot uptime is the largest DPS killer
dropping the infernal is like 300 more DPS

raid setup is part of it. if you dont have a moonkin you lose 300 ish DPS. kill time plays into it as well

Yeah we never run with a moonkin at all, so that hurts. I've been exclusively using the felpuppy for the entire raid, should I be using the infernal on bosses? Or at least bosses that die fast?

well actually that infernal bit might have changed as they buffed the felhunter. but it used to be that on a 3 min patch the infernal did as much DPS in 1 min as the imp did in 2 min

the doomguard however does somewhere between 700-1000 DPS

So the reaction, universally, when I try to summon a doomguard, has been "I'm not clicking that - itll kill me!" Even after explanation, some people won't help summon.

WTB decent PUG.

I pre-sold my tiny guild on the thing as soon as I found out about it here. Had to run the minor quests (seriously... did they HAVE to space everything that far apart? ffs...) to get the summon and was yak-yakking about it the whole time :p

Other nice thing about the Doomguard is that cripple will affect bosses.

We've only tried it once on 10man Patch, but it definately slowed down his normal melee on the MT. Unsure if it had any effect on the hateful strikes to the OT. We were able to down him with one healer (after the other DC'd on the pull) and get the acheivement for dropping him in under three minutes.

** US Democracy Server: Patch Day **

President

* Leadership: Will now scale properly to national crises. Intelligence was not being properly applied.
* A bug has been fixed that allowed the President to ignore the effects of debuffs applied by the Legislative classes.
* Drain Treasury: There appears to be a bug that allowed loot to be transferred from the treasury to anyone on the President?s friends list, or in the President?s party. We are investigating.
* Messages to and from the President will now be correctly saved to the chat log.
* Messages originating from the President were being misclassified as originating from The American People.
* A rendering error that frequently caused the President to appear wrapped in the American Flag texture has been addressed.

Vice President

* The Vice President has been correctly reclassified as a pet.
* No longer immune to damage from the Legislative and Judicial classes.
* The Vice President will no longer aggro on friendly targets. This bug was identified with Ranged Attacks and the Head Shot ability.
* Reveal Identity: this debuff will no longer be able to target Covert Operatives.
* Messages to and from the Vice President will now be correctly saved to the chat log.
* A rendering bug was affecting the Vice President?s visibility, making him virtually invisible to the rest of the server. This has been addressed.

Cabinet

* There was a bug in the last release that prevented the Cabinet from disagreeing with the President, which was the cause of a number of serious balance issues. This bug has been addressed, and we will continue to monitor the situation.

Judiciary

* Many concerns have been raised regarding balance issues in the Supreme Court. This system is maintained on a different patch schedule, and will require longer to address.
* A large number of NPCs in the Judiciary were incorrectly flagged "ideological." We are trying to identify these cases and rectify this situation.

Homeland Security

* Homeland Security Advisory System: We have identified a bug in this system that prevents the threat level from dropping below Elevated (Yellow). The code for Guarded (Blue) and Low (Green) has been commented out. We are testing the fix and hope to have it in by the next patch.
* Torture: This debuff is being removed after a record number of complaints.
* Item: Large Bottle of Water is incorrectly generating threat with TSA Agents when held in inventory. We are looking into the issue.
* Asking questions about Homeland Security was incorrectly triggering the Chain-Jingoism debuff.

Economy

* Serious on-going issues with server economy are still being addressed. We expect further roll-backs, and appreciate your help identifying and fixing bugs. We can?t make these fixes without your help.

PVP

* Reputation with various factions are being rebalanced. The gradated reputation scale was erroneously being overwritten by the binary For Us/ Against Us flag.

Quests

* The? Desert Storm? quest chain was displaying an erroneous "Mission Accomplished" message near the beginning of the chain.
* The quest chain that begins with ?There?s no Cake like Yellow Cake? and terminates with ?W-M-Denied? has been identified as uncompletable, and has been removed.

Reagents

* Many recipes that currently call for Crude Oil can now be made with Wind, Solar, Geothermal and Ethanol reagents. We hope to roll out even more sweeping changes in the next patch.

Events

* The ?Axis of Evil? event is drawing to a close. Look forward to the ?Rebuilding Bridges? event starting in January.

Nax was fun tonight. Absolutely wrecked the damage meters during AoE pulls. Fan of Knives spam is awesome.

I can't wait to try it out... if they ever fricken give me my rogue back from last week's hack job. Yes, I'm still waiting.

It's pretty sick. I also wrecked the (overall) meters in Naxx last night largely due to the new FoK. To be fair, it is probably a bit OP in it's current form. The 10 second CD was too long, but no CD permits you to do some crazy burst AOE on every pull. A compromise of somewhere between the 2 CD timers is likely in order.

nope it's real:

http://forums.worldofwarcraft....icId=14318781195&sid=1

When the next minor content patch is released players may notice two separate issues. The warlock spell Ritual of Summoning can only be used once every two minutes. Additionally, there are some human female animation errors, specifically when using two-handed weapons or shooting with a ranged weapon. Both of these issues are actively being addressed and we hope to have a fix available shortly after the patch releases. [eyonix]

Lag on patch night was terribad. I managed to stay long enough to do my sons daily as that put me to exalted. Day after was just about as bad, just did my oracle, ebon, and fishing daily and logged. What was real odd about this was I went through org after doing fishing daily and the lag there was about as bad as it was on NR. Thursday was decent for awhile, and then it started ratching up in lag. Friday wasn't too bad, about the closest to being normal for the entire night.

Anyone else finding the mining to be below pre on hit yields? I'm not sure I ever did a 4 ore node and not get some crystal with it, have noticed it several times post patch. Also have gotten a higher than normal amount of 2 ore nodes.

Looks like the lock health hotfix has gone through, void went from about 14k to 22k last night.

Has anyone heard what the lock summoning exploit was?

Any of you guys having trouble on OS3D now after the last patch? We thought we might have issues due to CoH and Wild Groth CD but our issue was greater damage from Sarth's breath with the 2nd drake down.

Any Illidan Horde have a decent raiding guild? Just getting back into WoW and will hit 80 tonight on my DK. I'd like some people to run (at least) heroics to purple out and start raiding.
