Has anyone ever gone through their WOW Screenshot folder and looked at how your experience was?

It's kind of cool seeing what you did when you first started out (And how much i sucked). Also cool seeing what you did with your friends and memories of those all-nighters when the game first came out. =D

I have 4 screen shots in my WoW folder. All of them were from ICC25.

Anyone know if guilds will run characters through Ulduar 25 for shards? I need the mace on my paladin, but I hate making pugs. People still can't do old content...

What do other guilds do to enhance attendance?

This was happening to my guild for a while too. Everybody would show up for prime time raid night for ICC, then on the progression night nobody would bother; we'd have 15 people online.

So the officers decided to semi-merge with an ICC 10 guild, so on progression nights we're full now. On main nights, if someone isn't logged in by 8 PM then the spot goes to one of the guys from the ICC-10 guild that joined us. So far has worked out beautifully.

The main advantage with borrowing people from an ICC-10 guild was that they already knew most of the fights since they were doing it on ICC-10. They had the motivation to join us for better gear that would help them further with their own ICC-10's, so it was a win-win.

Hey guys I just started playing again recently and I have some questions. First off, did they do away with UI mods in this game? I can't find the interface or addon folder in win7 at all, and I didn't see a "manage add-ons" button int he game anymore. I can't imagine they'd get rid of add-ons completely, I must just be missing something.

The other question I had was about cold weather training for flying mounts. I've seen guys flying around who are in their low 70s, but when I went to check it says lvl 77 is required. Is there some way to get around this? I thought I was going crazy but I've seen more than one person doing it in dragonblight and borean tundra.

They haven't done away with add-ons. There is an add-on button at the character select screen. Also, level 80's can purchase the Bind on Account cold weather flying book to learn it on characters level 68+.

depending on how you installed in in Win 7 and vista it places some of the folders inside my documents or app data (i cant remember which) you should just be able to search for it and figure it out

Level 80s can purchase a book to give to their alts.

My guild is still stuck on Dreamwalker. Serious WTF here. I don't know if people are slacking or what, but I posted the targeting macro in raid chat like 5 times, yet half the raiders still don't have the button mapped. The burning skeleton guys keep blasting the raid 3-4 times. I posted an extensive breakdown of the fight in the guild forums and maybe 5 guild members read it.

I don't see how my current guild will ever stand a chance at defeating Arthas. It's a weird guild because we raid 3 nights a week but half the guild plays like casuals. I joined the guild a couple months ago and I went from 14th place in DPS to 4th or 5th place - as a shadowpriest. One of the mages that joined before me, who has gotten more equipment than me, is still in 12th place in DPS.

I'd be seriously tempted to hop to another guild but there aren't any on my server that plays at the ideal raid time that I would need them to play during.

My guild's killed everything but Arthas.

To make it even worse? I had 251 weapons until after our most recent raids, when Black Bruise finally dropped, and I got the axe from 10m gunship last week.

I'm never going to see 25m hardmodes until either the 30&#37; buff goes out or my guild collapses and I quit my job and join Anubis' guild (sorry 'nubis, they're scheduling me till 8pm EST V_V).

I tried going the neutral auction house but apparently they changed it so you can no longer bid on your own auction.

Heh, Jax... I usually rank #1 DPS in my guild on fights like Festergut and Saurfang... although the rogue (that used to be #1) is breathing down my neck. That's with him getting Tricks and me not.. which makes me wonder why they still want to buff us more.

Your raids dps warriros/DKs/rets/ferals need to taunt the burning skeletons so they are NEVER in melee with their current target. In melee with target=cast lay waste. Between that mob and helping the kiter with the flamming zombie guy my taunt is almost always on CD in that fight (I'm ret).

The mob should die before they hit DR on taunts so ideally you will never see a single tick of lay waste.

you can add locks, mages warriors, rets and hunters to that list as well

we don't taunt the blazings, TBH i had no idea that worked, we just kill them. someone calls the side they are coming from and they die

We don't even bother with the taunting. Since our group has a good amount of ranged, we just call the skeletons out and blow them up. 90% of the time they don't get a single cast off. Those should be #1 dps priority though. We also kite around the Blistering Zombies (hunters do at least).

I'll have to suggest this to the raid leader and see what he thinks, didn't realize it worked like that.

What we typically do is split up the melee between two sides. We have a third tank deal with zombies (and a range is assigned to killing them). If one side seems to being getting hit REALLY hard (as the RNG in this fight can be fucking stupid at times), a couple melee jump over and help.

Really, it's all bout priority and target switching. Skeles > Supressors > Mages > Aboms

We raid with 4 rogues (I think it's retarded because I already have enough competition with an enhance shammy and 2 feral druids). The 4 of us are usually in the top 6-8, depending on the fight.

Saurfang for example should have melee at the top, especially if you're mutilate rogue. I can pull 11k on Saurfang and that's with 245 daggers. Even with terrible gear, a rogue should be able to pull off a decent amount of damage. I was in a pug with a rogue with 245 axes, but mostly 264 gear pulling 14k on saurfang.
