so latest is 80,000 in queue for it. That is the quickest $2 million Blizzard ever made for anything. And they don't even need to do anything other than design it and put it for sale.

I just don't understand. I have the game but would never pay real money for an item.

Currently in Queue...

Position: 102000 - Estimated time: 6 hours

The number has gone down maybe 20,000 in the past 15-20 minutes.

its up to 166k now but you enter the queue before you even finish the transaction so its prob not totally accurate, either way they prob made 2+ mill in the last 12 hours

IMO mount is ugly and IDK care about pets so im 35$ less poor then many people

I like the translucent look that it has... it also has little particles shooting out from the center .

They've made so much money on that mount - by Aikouka's count of just 166,000 in queue when he saw it, that's just a cool $4mm sitting there waiting.

I highly doubt there were that many people actually buying it... you can't forget that queue entry != actual sale. I went through that many people in about an hour (I made dinner while watching some of Taken (on Blu-Ray) on my new TV :p).

I wouldn't be surprised if they sold at least 100k mounts today.

It looks a lot like my little pony to me. I used to enjoy working for mounts like the netherdrake, buying one of them really isn't a part of the game for me. And the sentence little xt says is going to be so annoying to listen too all the time. I have 2 accounts but only one active waiting for expansion, I hope its better than end game is now. Even making a new character nobody does quests anymore and just blows thru to get the bag with the blue at the end. And to me the gear checks, difficulty and especially attitudes of other players at end game makes it no fun for a casual player like me that just wants to run an enjoyable instance now and then that isn't a heroic I have done a million times. The old wow game sure isn't like it used to be.

Even with the multi hour queue there was a large number of the things sitting around in game yesterday. Imagine as we get a week or so into it and people have more time to get through the queue the place will be swamped.

I had an hour wait with 86,000 in queue and later on my guildie had to wait through 130,000. So, I'd imagine they sold at least 200,000 of those mounts.

I knew the mount was coming. Didn't know when. Saw it yesterday in Orgrimmar. I think it looks pretty nice. I thought it was going to be a drop. It was hard to focus on the mount when it was carrying a big ass Tauren on it's back. Tauren just look so goofy on some mounts. My Druid is a Tauren. God I hate the Kodo mount. It's too friggin' huge. He gets stuck on stuff all the time. By doing the recruit-a-friend, his rep with the other factions sucks so bad, it'll be forever before I can get something different. So, I'll probably hop in the que when I get home.

Anyone hear anymore about the Rocket mount for the Recruit-a-Friend thing. Last I saw, it was delayed for a bit.

You can easily farm rep doing the Argent Crusade dailys for each faction and getting the writs to buy when you're chamption.

I bought the mount yesterday and am still a bit shocked I spent the $25+tax on it. I never thought I'd purchase in-game items with real money from the blizzard site lol. However, this mount just looks so cool imo.

It's like I was able to get an invisible version of invincible haha. I guess the only saving factor is that the mount is applied to all my chars, so that slightly makes me feel better about dropping the money on it.

Damn Blizzard has some marketing geniuses...multi-million dollar sales in just one day.

A few things I don't like about the mount:

1) I don't like how the front two legs/hooves look when it's running. For some reason it doesn't look like it's running as a normal horse would. It's like he's flinging his hooves out rather than doing a lift foward.

2) I wish they made the hooves a little more distinct, similar to a lock's dreadsteed or a DK's deathcharger.

3) This has to do with more with priests ability than the celestial mount itself. I hate how shadowform turns your mount dark. It makes all mounts of a certain type look the same and one point of mounts is to be able to tell which mount you have by looks. I'm not a big fan of how the Cel. Steed looks under the effects of shadowform.

It doesn't scale very well, either: My Drae shammy looks like an unripe Watermelon sitting on a glittering winged popsicle stick...

But.... With an incurable Alt~o~holism problem, the effort saved over time pays for the mount, so...

Yeah, but he's still stuck in Outlands. My first toon to hit 80 had decent rep already and I accidently took in more writs than I needed by about 10. I wish they would make those transferable to other toons on your account.

I haven't, but I'm hoping it'll come out soon. I referred a friend when I started back playing WoW last year, and got the Zhevra mount. I then referred another friend earlier this year and got another token for the Zhevra mount, but instead of giving it to one of my alt's that I never use, I'm waiting until they switch it over to the rocket to see if it will possibly switch over automatically and let me give the rocket to my main.

So blizz sucked me back in with the 7 day revive thing but now everything feels so strange. I still have my DK and my druid but I dont know what to play now. My DK was pretty geared with full Valorous and Deadly glad but druid seems pretty cool with balance even though hes only in 10 man naxx epics... What to do.

Also my server seems pretty dead now, Korgath, with not many people doing lower raids. Whats a good suggestion for server. I also want to switch over to Horde. I kinda hate alliance, only picked them because my friends played Alliance at the time.

No one does lower-level raids (unless they're the weekly) because there's no point. You can easymode gear now with the new systems.

Heh, I find this part of the developer chat amusing...

Q: How will "active spell is more powerful" be handled with no more dot clipping?
A: How about we get rid of “a more powerful spell is active” altogether? If you have some bonehead overwriting your more powerful buff or debuff, we’d rather you handle that issue socially.

Am I supposed to call myself a bonehead for having a trinket-boosted DoT affect my ability to overwrite? ;)
