Astranagant said:
Wow, I just tried to buy one

"Position in queue: 1114 Estimated time: 14 minutes"

lolol

I honestly can't justify spending more money on blizzard then I already do :p but that's just me personally

It is flying correct? If so, does it scale to 310%? Because if not, I don't think I'll buy it. If it does (and I already have a 310 mount) I will buy it as soon as I get home.

Being "the Celestial Defender" and having a celestial mount sounds kind of dope.

Funny store I read about previously on þhe main forums, group of relative newbies using LFG in their 50s. All had selected LBRS. About halfway or so into the dungeon they had to quit because it was too hard.....since they went via UBRS. Did say they managed to down the beast but got rather difficult shortly after that.

Then you may want to get in the queue soon.

It scales up to your fastest mount. So if you have 310 mount, it'll be a 310 mount.

I have all the time in the world to wait for it. I just don't want to not get it.

Also, does anyone know if it just for all characters currently on the account or for all characters ever on the account. I've never purchased anything like this from Blizzard before.

Now this part is part conjecture as I haven't read it from any others yet, but I would imagine it's like any of the other account wide bonus items in that a new char would receive the item in the mail when made just like your current chars would.

I have never had an "account wide" item, so I have no idea. The closest I have had was the Zebra mount from RaF and that was for a single character.

But, I do wish I could see it at work. =(

over 1000 in queue and barely past midday? I'll assume that Blizzard will make over $100k just today purely on a virtual item that mostly likely required very little programming and a re-using a horse model with a different texture.

It's like Farmville and micro-transactions for virtual goods.

Except, hopefully, I never have to buy another mount on any character again. I have my mount that will last me until I am finished with my character. All this convience and gold saving for the low price of $25. Plus, if I ever decide to break the ToS and sell my account, it has an extra value.

So if you get this celestial mount, can you mount up in Dalaran, hop around the street all you want, then run into the flying point area and just jump and take off?

If it works like the Horseman mount I believe you have to unmount / remount to achieve this.

Don't think so. The broom that was ground and flying forced you to remount to fly. I thought that was going to be a nice feature until i tried it and was WTF, that sucks.

It should only be available to those of us with Realm First! Celestial Defender feat of strength. Or, 25 players per server.

you've got your achievement and title and ulduar mount.

But the Ulduar mount doesn't even include any Algalon kills. Plus, being the first guild on a server to down a hard boss is a feat in itself. We should get a mount! A cool one too!

Oh well, in 30 minutes when I get off work I'll head home and see what it looks like. If it looks cools I'll probably ente the queue of suckers buying it.
