i'll actually settle with finishing my shadowmourne though. i still have two infusions left. if i can get those finished before cata i'll be happy.
Don't you still need the umpteen amounts of Shadowfrost Shards after the three infusions?
i'm not concerned about obtaining the 50 fragments so much as i am finishing the infusions this expansion. i can slowly kill bosses next xpac with fewer than a full raid. finishing blood queen with fewer people will be slightly less enjoyable and/or doable. i think we'd still need like 16 people? and even then we'll have to throttle our dps in order to have time to finish the infusion! (my numbers may be off but i do think i'll require more people than will probably be willing to run it
we had three completed shadowmournes in the guild before i stopped raiding 2 months ago. i'm sure they have finished at least one more by now. i was always an alt on my paladin, even though i would tank and heal for most of the hardmodes including hlk25 on certain nights when tanks were lazy or busy.
oh and i have something kind of hilarious to admit. i recently moved 2 characters to a new server, as did a friend of mine. we moved from our "one-time great guild" to a guild of about 6 members consiting of real life friends. well, i moved over all my hierloom gear so that i don't have to purchase it all again. today, i ran a random dungeon today on my mage (the one i stole the heirloom gear from) on my old server, bonechewer. the healer started acting like a punk kid after about 4 pulls when he noticed i had no weapon, trinkets, shoulders or chest equipped. all the other members in the group told him to forget about it seeing how i was still carrying the group in damage. the guy refused to heal me for the entire run and then on the two mid bosses that through out random shadow bolt damage i died as a result of him playing poorly. the point is a question actually. as much as i understand i was hindering the run by having those item slots empty, i'm of the belief that a healer that refuses to do his job is hindering the run even more. have you all ever experienced something like this? disclaimer: i realize i should not have queue up but i consider myself a non-drool player and i'm capable of still pulling my weight...even with a few items missing.
i don't remember people laughing about the holiday mount
i remember people being pissed it was a free 310% one

anyone else getting numerous phishing emails from "Blizzard Entertainment" but the actual FROM email is someone's hacked gmail or hotmail acct? I've gotten like 4 at various times today... it basically says a change has been made and if you didn't do it you better log in via this link (some long wow-account-manage.com phishing address).
I'm wondering why I'm being targeted... or if everyone is... if I'm at particular risk or something.
Yeah, seriously. I would have kicked on principle when I saw missing gear. There's just no excuse for that, hacked or not. Especially the weapon...ummm vote kick?

I honestly don't think I would have done a single pull.edit: would you vote based on principle? i can understand that. but why would you consider a vote kick for the top dps in your group if it's not simply based on principle?
I honestly don't think I would have done a single pull.
Especially at lvl 70... All the intro BC quests gear you out incredibly fast. But let's not bicker about a 5-man pug here.![]()
I was in a DTK heroic and the dps wiped because the tank couldn't hold aggro to save his mom... the healer asked us to run back - we were near the beginning of the instance. Granted I could have but the guy's job, as he stood over us out of combat, was as simple as clicking 1 button. I'm an enhancement shammy right now and even I try to rez the dead before anyone else.
The rest of the run he refused to heal me because I told him it was part of his job. If he aggro'd a mob I'd run over to get it off, and not even as the tank. Gotta love players with sticks up their asses.
Its also your job to watch threat. Count to five before dpsing or something.
