At work, need help PLEASE

So at work everyone is required to have a badge (dell). We use a printer called the ria tango/2e card printer. Out of the blue yesterday it just stopped printing. I printed a test card (a function on the printer) and it came out fine, I then plugged it directly into USB (currently it is networked through a switch) and I was able to print a card just fine. When I go to print over the network like we always do windows gives me the error of "error - printing" and it wont work. I can successfully ping the printer over the network, so that eliminates the port/cable/switch and I can print locally so that eliminates problems with the printer itself. I could really use some help, since there are people starting and we need to be able to give them badges. Thanks.
 
Is there anywhere on the network where it works? Like from the server itself?

Any chance it could it be a driver issue?
