At what temp does a Morgan Duron become unstable?

I have a machine that is crashing during UT. It has a Voodoo 3 3000 with a large passive aluminum sink on it and a Duron (Morgan) 1.2GHz with a stock collermaster on it. Something is overheating because this has only happened since the heat happened (average 85F with zero air conditioning). The CPU is reaching 69C doing Prime95 but has yet to crash. Although it's stuttering periodically and acting slowly. What do you think? CPU or vidcard?

It seems I shaved approx 6C off operating temp by cleaning the dust off the heatsink. Still I wonder if that V3 is a likely candidate for overheating?

Rising room temps make got quite a few temp issues within your case.
Separating your disk drives like you posted in your other thread is a good start for a solution.

You should post what case you are using. (a pic if you can) and give both mobo and cpu temp readings.

The real issue will be to provide adequate airflow to all your components. Your goal should be to get your case temp within a few degrees of your room temp.

Is it possible to get the motherboard temp close to room temp? My motherboard (case?) temp right now is 32C and my room temp is 21 or 22C.

You can get it pretty close.
Right now my cpu is overclocked and overvolted running @ 100% load. temp= 45C
My case temp= 25C.

I am not sure what the actual room temp is, but the thermostat is set to 24C.

Individual mobo temp readings will vary dependent on sensor placement.
The goal is to give the airflow no restrictions.
