Is anyone surprised at tonight's result?

You'd think they'd opened their eyes after barely beating the Lions. Then again after barely beating the Browns.

If not those two, then the Texans game. The defense got rolled over in the 4th quarter after choking away a 16 point lead.

Sure Sanchez shares a lot of the blame tonight with 3 INTs. An INT when they were @ the 10 or so really hurt. But the defense then proceeds to allow the pats the drive 90+ yards for the TD.

The Jets remind me of the Saints lately. They play down to their opponents level and eek out a win and are satisfied.

The Jets have beaten:
Buffalo, Minnesota, Detroit, Cleveland, Denver, Carolina and the Bungles. That's 7 wins against teams that had virtually collapsed.
Has any team played an easier schedule the Jets?
btw going into the season the jets schedule was the 18th easiest out of the 32 teams. With the collapse of many of their opponents, I think they may have played the easiest schedule of all.

Gotta love all of the NY Post comments from Jet fans destroying Rex Ryan. Even they want him to STFU.

I still stand by my Jets as I have for the past ~11 years. I think a good beating will do them some good...hubris was getting a little much this season. Also, despite getting trashed, I think they have decent chance of beating the Bears and the Steelers, although the latter will be very tough.

I think they'll have a much tougher time with the Bears.....(although the Steelers will be tough as well)

Serves them right. When you fail to look at your team objectively and sell your soul to a fat con artist you get what you deserve.

It's called being a die hard fan of your team....I still think the Seahawks are superbowl bound, and Mariners in the WS next year =)

I think the Jets are a good team but not quite ready to go to NE or Pitt. in a playoff environment and win. Brady has so many options to throw to now it's just hard to stop that offense..

Patriots aren't that good and Jets aren't that bad. It's one game.

O'really? Now its two weeks in a row.

The Jets have had every break go their way this season. Including having virtually no major injuries. And now after Miami beat them they are 9-4 and have to play the Steelers, the Bears and the Bills.
I took a lot of heat in this thread when I said the Jets were a 9-7 team that might get to 10-6 if the get lucky. So far they have been super lucky and 10-6 is looking like that's where they might end up. No way they will sweep the last three. And if they go 1-2 they hit my lucky mark right on the nose.

the jets have all the pieces to become a great NFL team, all they have to do is draft a franchise QB and they are set!
