It doesn't even have to do with a number. I know people in their early 20's who act like old people.

I think I reached that status sometime around 4th grade. I always preferred talking to teachers; they seemed much more mature and less childish. Transitioning to adulthood shattered some idealist illusions I had about adults. Too often they seem like children with 100lbs+ of body weight, a checkbook, and a car tacked on.
Time to go set up some bear traps on the front lawn before the Lawerence Welk Show comes on.

Age is a state of mind. I know people who are 25 who are boring old farts and 75 year olds who are as fun as you should be when you are in your 20's. Life is what you make of it people.

So women hit old fart status at 16?Originally posted by: boomerang
You reach old fart status when you've got a lot to say, but no one finds any of it worth listening to.
