I'm a nice guy and all but have little luck with the ladies (but I hardly try either). I look at the bright side of things: I'm 23 and completely mobile. I'm going to spend 2 months on a Greek island this summer, and when I get back, I think I'll apply to a German MBA program. Could I do that if I was in a serious relationship here in Atlanta? Don't think so.

Beauty's in the eye of the beholder - many people who others think has no way in hell has a chance to improve their lot in life - I'm sure you're not living in some ghetto area fighting to survive . . . I'm guessing you're relatively young living in the US? Lotsa possibilities - jsut don't sit on your ass and cry about it.

seriously though, get out, go to a bar or find a party, get drunk, make an ass of yourself, wait till a few days later when your friends are telling you all the stupid/crazy/hilarious things you did that night. laugh. repeat. works for me when i'm feeling down. 🙂

 

You don't give up. Giving up amounts to suicide or living in despair. And frankly, rather than live in despair, I'll take the first. But neither is a healthy choice.

What makes life interesting are challenges and being able to triumph at the end. So, don't give up if this applies to you in any way.
