At what point did you start feeling old?

Old is a mindset, I'm 40 next month and I still feel young. I've never abused myself that hard and take care of myself physically and having a girlfriend half my age does help😉

i feel old now... the other day i did a hypothetical on how much rent, food, car, and student loan repayment is going to cost me when i graduate and when i realized how little money i had leftover i realized hypersaving mode must begin...

i started feeling old when i turned 24 and realized the next birthday i would be a quarter of a century old....

all i want for my bday next year is to get a year younger!

I remember it distinctly. I was 6 years old and waiting for the school bus and said to myself, "Self, only them old kids have to wait on the school bus." The carefree days of fishing, camping and swimming were being replaced and I did not like it one bit!...Still don't!

I tried the corporate life, although at a much later age than 6, and finally settled for less money and more time with my family. I'll probably work untill the day I die. So what?

Thought it over long ago, work hard to be rich or work less and be happy. To answer the question, I started to worry when I was 28 about my future. I quit worrying at 48. Ten years of worry is too much imho.

I owe nothing, in a monetary sense of course, but utility bills and taxes. Investments? Sure, but I doubt they will support me at 65 and Social Security will be history as we now know it. I've rarely taken vacations and always look forward to going back to work after the ones I do take.

My dad is 74 and works full time. If it's good enough for him.....😎

All I know is, we were at the theatre the other night and the pre-movie trivia slides were playing, and there was some sort of quote from George Clooney to the effect of "we can't all be Paul Newman" and this gaggle of pre-teen kids in the row behind us starts saying "Who the hell is Paul Newman?" "I don't know." My rheumatism started acting up right then and there.

Old as in Grown Up: when I had a sick baby in the hospital and it was my responsibility to make the decisions that might mean life or death

Old as in Old: holding my brand-new grandson 17 months ago. BTW, old as in old is cool, it means that you can start leaving the Problems of the World to the next generation. I'm 53 and I hope I have a few more productive years, but I like Old.

i remember thinking to myself as i was sitting on the toilet, you know you're old when a good healthy dump feels better than sex! :Q

LMAO!!!

I haven't yet felt old...i just feel like time started moving extremely fast at age 22....You young dudes watch...one day you'll wake up from a dream that you're in college and have missed a final...only to learn that you graduated from college 6 years ago and your late for a job that pays you far less than what you anticipated you'd be making at this point in life...

I started feeling old when the 5-8 year olds I teach thought I was as old as their dad (I'm 21)
