At what point did EDO ram prices level off?

when compared to standardizing of PC1xx SDRAM.


meaning, when can we expect(predict) for PC133 SDRAM chips fall no lower, perhaps climb w/ decreased mfg. ?

I want to buy 3 512 M chips and I was wondering if I should wait, with prices for the t.o.l. chips >$100....

The level and start to (slightly) go up when they're not at all the standard anymore. SDR SDRAM will do this when every new motherboard on the market supports DDR or RDRAM exclusively, which hasn't happened yet.

so, conceivably, it could be a year or so, and maybe at that point they could've gone down to like 10 or 20 bucks for the best?! woohoo! (exageration?)
